About Us

Windover Women's Resort was founded by a small group of friends in the 1980s, in hopes of providing a safe, outdoor camping experience for all women to "bewhatchawannabe". Ironically, that is the original name of Windover! Over the last 35+ years that is exactly what has been achieved. WIND is owned and operated by Women and conveniently located in Michigan's Thumb!  Windover Women's Resort is so much more than a girls camping weekend away. Windover is a welcoming sisterhood with life long friendships in the making! Membership is required and restrictions apply. Safe & secure camping for Women only, over 18 years of age. Onsite 24-hour security, daily, weekend, and full-season camping options available. Windover has many amenities to take advantage of: Rental trailers, in-ground heated swimming pool, clean showers, camp store, clubhouse, multi-sports court, semi-rustic rental - the Dragonfly rental cabin, dancing at the Toad, community campfires, events and so much more! Lazy Day Weekends at Windover is an event in itself!
Enjoy Windover Women's Resort Lazy Day weekends by our beautiful, heated, in-ground pool. A great way to relax and beat the summer heat. Come enjoy the day on the multi-sports court that transforms from Basketball to Pickleball! Windover has interactive themed events almost every weekend and mini pop-up events on Lazy Days. You can enjoy the camaraderie of others or enjoy your weekend on your own, it’s up to you! Windove's large, grassy sites has so much to offer with plenty of off-site adventures to take and wineries to check-out. The "Out'N'Bout" page has links to surrounding must-sees. From Summer Saturdays - Outdoor Markets in Post Austin (1/2 hour drive) to the Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville. The Dizzy Daisy Winery & Vineyard in Bad Axe and so much more.

Port Austin

A trip to Turnip Rock in Port Austin is unmistakably one of the best activities for kayakers on Lake Huron.

The trip consists of a 7-mile out-and-back trip. The shallow waters surrounding Turnip Rock allow you to get out and enjoy the area as well as snap a few photos while you are there. Caseville

cheeseburger festival and much more all summer!


The 2020 Caseville Cheeseburger Festival will be held August 14 - 23, 2020. It is a 10-day event on the shores of Lake Huron with LOTS of daily music including Buffett-style tribute bands, variety bands, original musicians, and more! The campgrounds in Caseville are already sold out, but we have room for you! Windover is just 25 miles south of Caseville with a smooth, scenic drive. SILVER BULLET SPEEDWAY


The Sebewaing Speedway is ten minutes away. Racing starts at ‍‍‍7:30 PM. Pit Gate Opens at 3 PM and Front Gate at 5:30 PM. Right around the corner from camp! Feel the rush of the cars racing and enjoy the great theme nights. For the 2020 race schedule go to silverbulletspeedway.com.
